What Gives A Person Power?

Nothing gives a person power, a person has to earn power. A person can do this by demanding. They must be feared before they can become anything great. If they are  not feared, then others will think they can take them down easily, without consequences. I know this from first hand experiences. If a man is demanding, then people listen. He looks strong and soon will have people to help him and do his dirty deeds for him. Power comes from having people to be under a person and listen and follow through with his needs and wants. Weak People Give A Strong Person Power.

    I think that you don't need to be feared in order to gain power, and you also don't need to earn power, it can be given. Given power is very rare however.

    if you are not a threat in some way... then people will not listen to you, and if they do not listen, then you have less power. especially over them.

    Weak People give a strong person power....Oh Lady Macbeth you are the perfect example of this. I think your husband was weak in some ways, but he certainly gave you a lot of power by allowing you to manipulate him.
